About Barnsley Chair Centre

Barnsley Chair Centre was founded in 1984 by husband and wife team, Paul & Anne Hodson, who now have, collectively, nearly 8 decades of experience in all aspects of upholstery.

They have traded from the same premises on Farrar Street, Barnsley, for over 30 years, where their in-house workshop complements their furniture showroom.

Their expertise and lifelong commitment to the furniture trade has enabled them to select a range of sofas and chairs, made with high quality timber frames and luxurious fabrics, providing the ultimate in comfort and durability - both pleasing on the eye and a pleasure to use!

The ground floor showroom holds the largest selection around of power assisted rise & recline chairs and high-seat chairs. Each one is available in a huge range of fabrics and leathers, with matching 2 and 3 seater sofas as an option.

The first floor showroom houses a hand-picked range of beautiful sofas and chairs made by leading British manufacturers.
